Hay Der Home Repair

The long awaited exclusive video footage is now available via YouTube. I apologize about cutting out the basement footage (you will see). I thought I was recording and I was on pause. Basically you missed some dirt, dog poop, and crumbling cement blocks. That about does it!!

If the link does not work, you can search under Rauen and the video should pop up.

Also, there is a little attachment at the end for Patrick and Adam so they can say hi to Cali and Foster!

Enjoy.

Must Be a Full Moon

OK, so Josh gets home today and a bunch of people are in the house with trucks and trailers parked outside.  His initial thought....oh crap, the city is tearing it down.  Afterall, we do not officially own the house.  Well, the nosey neighbor that he is goes next door to check out all the action.  Apparently, these people were hired by the current owners to clean all the nasty, smelly, disgusting stuff out of the house!!!  Can you believe it?????? Now, you have to imagine our excitement when the stench of the place is subsiding and we are already ahead a dumpster load!!!  Not even day one and we are already ahead a day.  Truck load after truck load they have spent all day hauling all the junk out.  YES!!!   I don't even know if you can imagine all the stuff that was stored in that house.  Our two 30 yard dumpsters will now be more than enough and we can dive in with the demo.  FANTASTIC!!!

Pre Closing

We are 10 days away from closing so are project begins!! To track all the updates for those not in the area, we will be blogging.

Wow....what an adventure it was to get up to this point for the SD partners. Who knew banking could be so difficult!! Now you can sit back, relax (yeh right) and watch the progress. To start things off, here is Picture #1...."The House"

I would like to point out that the wonderful plant growing in the front yard is a weed turned tree. Can't wait to get that outta there!!! At least it is covering up the boarded up window. And if you look closely, it seems that we are a part of the neighborhood watch program. We live next door and never know we had one. hmmmm........
